Job description
We require 80 workers for citrus picking on a farm in Jemalong, NSW.
The work includes harvesting and pruning CITRUS plants and general farm labouring.
Work will commence in June 2024 and continue for 9 months.
Successful candidates will be offered employment on a casual basis and paid under the Horticulture Award 2020 on hourly and piece rates.
Individuals must have a resilient attitude towards outdoor work, be capable of thriving in various weather conditions and be willing to accommodate flexible schedules, including weekends and early morning starts. Typical working hours are between 7am and 5pm.
Physical fitness is paramount, as tasks entail lifting, bending, and carrying heavy harvest buckets on uneven terrain. You will also need to sustain positions like bending and squatting for extended periods throughout the day.
This job has opportunities for upskilling and training. Workers must be able to pass a medical/drug test. Candidates MUST have work rights in Australia
