About Us
Agro Invest Overseas Ltd, the owners of Black River Farm, a large, prestigious private estate in the Jugiong/Harden region of New South Wales, is seeking experienced and motivated Farm Labourers to join the maintenance and landscaping team.
As a Farm Labourer in the maintenance team, you will work closely with the Maintenance Leader to maintain Black River Farm's property to a high standard. In the Landscaping team, you must have an eye for detail to carry out work and continually keep the property tidy and well-maintained.
These roles are full-time working a 9-day fortnight, 76-hour fortnight, with excellent remuneration above Award Wages, dependent on experience and suitability. You will report to either the Maintenance Leader or Landscapes Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain the property of Black River Farm to a high standard.
- Assist with weed control in horse paddocks and unstocked areas.
- Carry out mowing of unstocked areas.
- Carry out spraying of fence lines, roadsides, etc.
- HOLD current Chemical Accreditation. Training is available when necessary.
- Follow all safety disciplines involved with chemicals, be aware of all OH&S procedures, and maintain a strict chemical usage register.
- Undertake other tasks that are necessary for the efficient maintenance of the property when available.
- Be aware of work health and safety issues when operating all machinery.
- To have an eye for detail with all work carried out and continually keep a tidy and safe workplace.
- Demonstrate organisational skills and self-management when required to coordinate daily tasks.
- When necessary, cooperate with other departments, e.g., the Horse manager, regarding spraying paddocks and moving horses.
- To advise the Estate Manager of any maintenance or parts requirements.
- Maintain machinery, cleaning, and greasing.
- Help to build and maintain fences on the Estate.
