We are currently seeking a Farm Manager to join our Team at our Belvedere Orchard. Belvedere is approx. 600 ha in size and located near Narrandera in New South Wales.
About the role:
The position is responsible for the day to day management of the Belvedere Farm, including the implementation and delivery of quality focused horticultural programs to achieve optimal yield and production. The successful incumbent will lead and develop an exceptional team of people with a high standard of safety and hands-on approach.
To be successful you will have:
- Proven experience implementing horticultural programs in almonds or similar crop.
- Tertiary qualifications in Horticulture, Viticulture or Agriculture would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands.
- Sound time management and organisational skills.
- Good QA, CI and OHS knowledge as applied to the food industry.
- Sound understanding of people/human resource management.
