Form of workWESTCOWIE FARMS is a progressive family owned farming enterprise located near Point Turton on Southern Yorke Peninsula.
We are seeking a motivated versatile person to work in our progressive agribusiness which comprises of cereal cropping, legumes and sheep expanding over our 5300ha property.
The successful candidate will need
- A positive work ethic
- To be self motivated
- To be able to work in a team
You will be responsible for duties including:
- Operation of a range of modern, high tech agricultural equipment
(tractors, trucks, sprayer, spreader etc.)
- General property repairs and machinery maintenance
- Sheep husbandry
Desirable requirements
- HC/MC Truck license
- Welding and Mechanical knowledge
- Prior farming experience
- Physically fit
- Current Drivers License essential
