About the Role
In this role you are required to manage all product developments, sales and critical path functions related to your customer/s. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service and quality product at the best possible margin. Success would be achieving sales and margin targets through effective negotiation, communication and team management.
Key duties will include but not be limited to:
- Sales and Customer Management
- Develop and maintain close strategic relationships with customers and suppliers
- Management of your Customer’s P&L
- Product Development
- Fashion trend forecasting and online research
- Range presentations to customers
- Product costings
- Creation of initial tech packs
- Sourcing appropriate fabrics and trims if necessary
- Production
- Management of the Critical Path timeline
- Data integrity of sales and purchase orders in ERP system
- Manage customer fit sessions and approvals
About you
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in men and women apparel working with national retailers. You will need to be familiar with managing merchandising and technical functions and have a keen appreciation for meeting deadlines and being accountable for budgets.
Energy, attention to detail, a good communicator and a commercial mindset are qualities we seek in filling this role.
Part time or full time for the position available depending on availability.
Tertiary qualifications in fashion design or similar would be a benefit.
