The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to take on an incredible opportunity to join our Product and Trade Team. This rolve involves having the ability to work both independently if required, as well as in a friendly, collaborative environment. We are looking for someone who can meet deadlines, has had experience in a similar role and is passionate about our brand and products, our wonderful team, and our growing customer base.
The Role & Responsibilities:
- Trend knowledge, forecasting and commercial acumen
- Achieving sales, margin and inventory level budgets
- Managing in season inventory by identifying performing and non-performing styles
- Work with external suppliers, building and strengthening relationships
- Develop new product and category offerings
- Participate in development of new line releases
- Work closely with other areas of the business (Production, Design, Marketing, Ecommerce, Distribution) and various other stakeholders to support business objectives
Our ideal candidate will hold the following experiences and skills:
- Tertiary education in a creative field – fashion, design, graphics or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Ability to handle high volume workload & meet tight deadlines
- Outstanding time management & problem-solving skills
Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
