AddressThis role responsible for Range Strategy and Product Development for trending Diamond Fashion Category. Our client is looking for an energetic and career focussed Buyer to join our global Merchandise team, here in Brisbane.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Range strategy to deliver sales and profit
- Manage the full product development cycle for Diamond Fashion category
- Financial management of category to achieve margin targets (OTB management).
- Maintaining and developing multiple supplier relationships and ensuring supplier delivery against KPIs
- Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Buying and Product Development background (while having jewellery experience is ideal, it isn’t a necessity)
- Driven by creative product development with an eye for detail
- High level of commercial acumen
- Strong trend and market awareness
- Experience in a retail head office in a Buying role for 3+ years
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Ability to work proactively in a team environment with a flexible, can do attitude
- Brisbane based Global Support Centre Office located in Cannon Hill with onsite parking available
