About The Role:Working in collaboration with our Creative Director and Head of Brand you will be responsible for concepting and implementing our colourful & creative design strategy. You will love researching the latest trends, creating fresh and fun design concepts and analyzing past sales to add growth potential to future collections. You will also manage the creation and maintenance of all CAD illustrations, proto and range sample requests.
- Develop innovative and cohesive designs that reflect the brand's bright and elevated aesthetic and align with the creative director's vision.
- Assume responsibility for designated product categories, overseeing the entire process from initial concept development to final product execution in collaboration with our lovely product team.
- Dive into trend research and forecasting to inject fresh ideas and concepts into each seasonal collection.
- Analyze previous sales data to strategically enhance future collections and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the product team to source new fabrics and trims that resonate with the distinctive style of Mister Zimi.
- Evaluate top-selling products and devise innovative & creative updates that keep our customers smiling.
- Create detailed design and production illustrations, including all CADs.
- Ensure quality by performing CAD print placement checks to identify any placement issues to ensure every print finds its perfect place on our garments.
- Work closely with the product team to accurately communicate all sampling requirements.
- Lead the charge on prototype samples and ensure our Design Page tech packs are set up for success!
