Fashion Garment and Spec Technician

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for creating specifications, tracking range progress and all aspects from development through to final shipment and QC, ensuring that you meet internal deadlines with a focus on delivery and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure garments for fit sessions – protos, SMS, PPS and Off Bulk
- Create accurate measurement specifications with correct grading for all styles within the specified timeline
- Create point of measure diagrams for each size spec
- Track range progress on a daily basis ensuring all styles are on target for on time delivery and communicating any issues with solutions
- Conduct fit sessions in a clear, confident, and precise manner
- Ensure clear and concise fit comments are sent to all relevant suppliers
- Manage all QC issues to ensure high quality garments
- Send and track original garments sent to suppliers ensuring all are returned undamaged
- Maintain an organised block and sample library
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role with a minimum of 3 years’ +
- Experience with offshore manufacturers would be ideal
- Children apparel experience preferable
- You must have strong technical skills with a focus on product quality, fit and improvements
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and organised team environment
- Experience working with both CMT and FFP
- An ability to prioritise and multitask with excellent attention to details
- Outstanding PC skills and clear verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Proficiency in all MS Office specifically in Excel and Adobe Illustrator essential
- Experience in pattern making
