As the Fashion Wholesale Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Founder/Director of YC Creative, ensuring the smooth execution of wholesale operations, maintaining strong relationships with clients and brands, and contributing to the overall success of the business. This part-time, hybrid role is perfect for a contractor with an ABN and has the potential to grow and evolve for the right candidate.

YCC guides brands to the next level, equipping them with the necessary tools to support their growth and success at a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Manage administrative tasks including internal database updates and calendar coordination.
- Coordinate new and repeat order management process from client POs to production confirmation.
- Monitor order delivery process, ensuring accuracy and meeting retailer expectations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of overseas trips, handling travel logistics, itineraries and budget adherence.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between brands, retailers and internal stakeholders for sample coordination and range book distribution.
- Provide support during trips, managing emails and organising post-trip activities such as buy boards and sample returns.
- Handle logistics for Australian trips including travel arrangements and expense tracking.
- Support creative processes by preparing samples, assisting during shoots when needed, and communicating Director’s briefs to graphic designers.
- Assist in collection design process by creating moodboards and trend forecasting boards based on Director’s requirements.
- Contribute to the success of wholesale operations and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Either a Graduate with an interest in the fashion industry or a proven background within the fashion retail or wholesale industry in a similar role
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills when dealing with clients and collaborators
- Ability to build strong relationships with retailers, brands and any other collaborators of the business
- Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong administrative skills with an ability to work productively
- Practical and strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work proactively
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite essential
- Basic to intermediate experience with Airtable preferred
- Interest in fashion and understanding of wider market category
