THE OPPORTUNITY
The purpose of this role is to pro-actively finalise workers compensation claims and manage a portfolio of non-significant workers compensation claims in accordance with EML’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and analysing each claim in your portfolio and making appropriate claims management decisions in accordance with EML policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Developing, monitoring and updating Claims Management Plans (CMPs) to achieve positive Return To Work (RTW) goals.
- Forecasting, developing and implementing strategies to overcome potential barriers in order to ensure a timely and durable RTW for the injured worker.
- Developing a working understanding of the relevant legislation or policy.
- Ensuring data within claim files are maintained with all relevant documentation and in accordance with internal documentation policies and procedures.
- Preparing accurate documentation, letters and reports in accordance with EML’s case management and operational models, in relation to claims in your portfolio in line with legislation.
- Ensuring all invoices and payments relating to your portfolio are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Negotiate legal costs & organise investigations as required.
