SalaryCowraFeed is a successful, long-term business located in Cowra NSW. The business has developed a strong reputation as a trusted supplier of feed and seed grain in NSW.
Due to ongoing growth the business is now seeking to employ a Feedmill Operator to assist with production on a day-to-day basis.
As a Feed Mill Operator, you will assist with the day-to-day operations in the production facility through batching grain mixes, running the Feed Mill, and assisting with bagging, palletising, and preparing product for despatch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operate Feedmill pre-mix, batching and pellet press machinery to produce feed orders according to job schedule requirements.
- Quality sampling, testing, and documentation as required.
- Assist with loading and unloading of bulk and general freight trucks (either via forklift or auger.)
- Completing basic machinery cleaning and general maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
- Ensuring manufacturing processes are adhered to at all times.
- Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up, and be mindful of risks.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a current car license.
- Hold a current forklift license (favorable.)
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills.

- Strong attention to detail, and proud of a clean workspace.
- Physically fit to meet the manual handling needs of the position.
- Ability to understand, correctly interpret and follow instructions, procedures, and information.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and resilient to juggling competing priorities.
- Proven ability to work effectively unsupervised and within a team environment.
