Female Boarding - House Parents

The role:
If you are looking to discover new ways of improving yourself then come work as a Boarding House Supervisor (House Parent). You will actively participate in creating a safe, caring, and nurturing Boarding House environment. Providing support to young people that are living away from their home, you will help empower these youth to learn new life-skills but also have fun successfully engaging with students in activities and learning opportunities.

Come and work with a culturally diverse community, offering both academic and the boarding program to its students who come from remote communities throughout the Northern Territory and beyond.
About you:
- Demonstrate a commitment to the interests and wellbeing of indigenous youth
- Ability to communicate effectively with young people
- Awareness of indigenous and cross-cultural community needs, and sensitivities related to working in a cross-cultural environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
