The Opportunity

As the Product owner you will oversee and coordinate the production activities of the of 3rd Party Interfaced service associated functions for the Australian Defence Force Health Services Contract (ADFHSC) business unit. The team partners with business to provide a solution on third Party Interfaces. We currently interface with 3 providers - pathology Australia wide, Imaging and radiology and Bupa Optical.  

In this role you will provide transparency of the services, transactional level events and provide assurance on the business outcomes expected of the services. Through an end-to-end service delivery mindset, the Interface owner will oversee detection, triage and analysis activities in partnership with technology support teams, clinical investigations and governance teams.

You will ensure interfaced outcomes are transitioned to the relevant technical or business leaders and evolve the design of both process and monitoring.

You will be accountable in:

• Providing technical ownership of productionised 3rd Party Interfaces.
• Ownership of outcomes including transactional reporting, detection, response and improvement initiatives
• Managing and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the integrations, 
• Ownership of visibility and resolution of incidents or issues impacting service level agreements
• Presenting aggregated performance metrics & recommendations to enable capacity management, performance and management decision making.
• Owning and coordinating communication between technical support, business functions and 3rd Parties
• Ongoing improvement of interfaces.

About You

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency is essential. As such, you must be an Australian citizen to apply for this role, with no prior Criminal convictions. 
• 5-7 years of experience in general IT, with 3+ years within 3rd Party Interfaces/ integration coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications. 
• Working application interfaces/ integration’s experience, including log management, performance and reconciliations.
• Experience within Finance or Health sector highly desirable, notably interface/ integration containing to digital appointments, digital clinical reporting.
• Ability to run technical queries and reconciliation across databases.
• Desirable technical skillsets, Azure PaaS, Azure Application Architecture, .Net, Azure Integration, SQL.
• Proactive and independent mindset as well as a willingness to share knowledge.
• Supplier and/or Service Delivery Management.
• Ability to make business and information security risk determinations.
• Proven ability to lead outcomes and improvement.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills spanning Technical and Business 3rd Party stakeholders.
