Our lovely Client is a young male with a vast love for eclectic music. The ideal Support Worker for our Client is someone who is patient with a good sense of humour. If you describe yourself as “quirky”, you might be exactly what our Client is looking for – he loves random chats and fully embraces the quirkiness of life. He is looking for a Support Worker who is willing to explore his new community of Charters Towers alongside him – any local knowledge of the area would be beneficial. Our Client has requested female Support Workers. Only female applicants will be considered for this role.
This young man is hesitant about meeting new people so softly, softly is the way forward. He is very close to his mother who is an extremely important person in his life. He has an anxious personality and due to his ASD Lv 3 diagnosis has difficulty expressing himself, so please be patient and supportive of him. He is looking for female workers only please.
The role will involve support with community access. A valid driver’s licence and fully insured vehicle is required for this position.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers who have availability for shifts during daytime hours onweekdays (exact hours to be confirmed).
Our weekday daytime rate for this position is $38.13 per hour. Please note pay rates are set and non negotiable.
You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client’s needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
To be successful you must:
- Resonate with the role description above

- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
