Female Support Worker - Emerton

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Female Support Workers to join our team for ongoing placements in Emerton. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to individuals with disabilities and aged individuals. This position requires early mornings and entails transportation runs, community access outings, and other support activities.

Requirements:

• NDIS Screening Check
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Valid Driver's License (D/L)
• Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care or Individual Support
• Completion of NDIS Modules (Orientation, Induction, Support Safe & Enjoyable Meals)
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
• Reliable Car & Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized care and support according to individual needs and NDIS plans
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Transportation runs and community access outings
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting as required

Qualifications and Skills:

• Compassionate and patient attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in disability or aged care preferred
• Prior experience and knowledge with Epilepsy preferred
• Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and regulations
