Built By Geoff is a family run Gate & Fencing business with over 30 years' experience. We provide tailored high quality Commercial & Residential Automatic Gates & Fencing across the Goldfields. Our workshop is located Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
We specialise in Commercial and Mining Security Fencing:
- Gates & Gate Automaton.
- Pool fencing & Boundary fencing including steel, wrought iron, aluminium & Colorbond.
And;
- Mine site perimeter fencing and gates, magazine fencing, Garrison and Palisade.
Key responsibilities and Requirements include:
- Installation of manual roller gates
- Installation of all types of fencing for commercial, residential and mining
- Mixing and pouring concrete and setting posts accurately
- Using different types of machinery and power tools
- General Factory duties including cutting, grinding & Forklift.
- Deliveries & Pickups from suppliers and customers.
- Install and repair panel fencing and chainmesh fencing according to project requirements
- Measure and mark fence lines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in the ground, ensuring proper alignment
- Construct and assemble fence panels and gates, ensuring structural integrity
- Install necessary hardware, including hinges, locks, and latches
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Must be able to work on mine sites and/or occasional short term away rosters
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A complete understanding of the Gate & Fence construction process
- Be reliable with excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
- A valid Australian HR driver’s licence ( Must )
- Your own vehicle (Must)
- High Risk Licenses (Forklift, EWP)
- Construction Industry White Card
- Be able to pass Full Pre-Employment Medicals and regular Drug and Alcohol Tests
- Current National Police Clearance (Certificate)
- Must be an experienced commercial panel and chainmesh fencer, capable of installing all types of fencing products including chain wire, tubular, palisade and welded mesh, colorbond
- Proficiency in using fencing tools and equipment
- Ability to follow procedures, read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of various fence materials and their appropriate applications

Available for immediate start for successful candidates with great rates depending on experience & skill level. Jobs are paid on an hourly rate, and wages paid weekly. You will have the opportunity to earn significantly more than the advertised salary depending on your skill set and work ethic.
