About the Role
A part-time opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Fertility Coordinator based in our Craigie Clinic (3 days a week).
As first point of contact for our patients, we are seeking that special individual with genuine warmth, attentiveness, and positivity. The primary purpose of this role is to provide a high-quality service and support to the healthcare professionals, nurses and patients in our Fertility unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing patient packs for upcoming nursing consults.
- Preparing patient packs for repeat cycles and mailing them.
- Creating and filling patient checklists as part of preparation for cycles.
- Emailing/Mailing pathology forms and scan referrals to patients when required.
- Ensuring all checklists complete in our Patient Management System and that all consent forms and screening bloods are current as patients are commencing a treatment cycle.
- Manage patient collection trays and pending consent documents.
- Ensure all collateral patient material is topped up and order through marketing as required.
- Ensuring medical records, including results, correspondence and any other related material are up to date and filed correctly and in a timely fashion.
- Manage outbound calls for general patient enquiries via email/website.
- Manage patient enquiries as deemed appropriate for skillset as triaged by Nursing team and admin.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service or Administration role preferably in a healthcare environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A patient-centred warm and caring approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business
- Full training will be provided
