Due to ongoing growth, we have a vacancy for a Foundry Worker to join our Aftercast Team in Artarmon 2064 NSW

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, with an ability to think outside the box. The ideal candidate will also have a strong safety mindset, willingness to learn, a positive attitude and manual handling capabilities:

The key responsibilities of this role will include: (but not limited to)

  • Preparation of castings for next stage of manufacturing process whilst meeting Aftercast production output.
  • Operation of equipment including overhead cranes.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is fit for purpose and operating correctly.
  • Participation in toolbox talks.
  • Flexibility in operating in other areas of the Foundry if required by management.
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised and punctual.
  • A positive attitude be self-motivated and passionate.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Safety conscious mindset.
