We offer a professional working environment and a supportive team, we are rapidly expanding and have the need to hire more hard working, skilled Fibrous Plasterers. We are looking for experienced tradesmen who specialise in all aspect of plastering working skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding and interpreting plans and specifications
Carrying out measurements and cutting plasterboard according to specifications.
Lifting, positioning and fixing plasterboard to walls, ceilings and battens, with back-blocking.
Fixing ceiling battens and basic levelling.
Fixing wet area sheets and fibre cement board.
Stopping ceiling joints, wall joints, external metal angles, internal angles.
Installing corners. Installing and stopping external wall angles and ceiling perfect angles.
Mixing plastering compounds. Applying coats of plaster, cement and render to structures using trowels, and levelling and smoothing coats to uniform thickens.
Plumbing and straightening corners, angles, wall and ceiling surfaces
Finishing plasterboard joins and screw spots using the three-coat technique. Smoothing those using wet brushes and sand paper.
Applying and finishing acoustic, insulating and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement and similar materials
Ensuring that all occupational health and safety measures are adhered to at all times while working
Desirable Qualification/ Experience:
At least 3 years relevant experience, skills and attitudes in relevant field.
Diploma – Certificate 4 and above
Other Skills:
Excellent communication skills, good work ethic, work well under pressure.
Basic computer skills

Salary: $60,000.00 – $73,000.00 per annual plus super
