Bechtel has been selected as Delivery Partner for the Western Sydney Airport, a $5.3 billion greenfield facility in Badgerys Creek, New South Wales. This will be a landmark project for both New South Wales and Australia and is due for completion at the end of 2026.

About the Role:
As Field Engineer – Technology, you will support the package management team in the active management of technical interfaces with Independent Certifier.
You will have well developed Field Engineering and coordination skills and be an effective communicator as a point of contact and coordination between internal teams, project managers and all other technical stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- support interface process and interfaces between the main works packages and the WSA Technology Delivery Program systems.
- in conjunction with WSA Technology, support technology package delivery activities ensuring a consistent and integrated approach.
- support package management by ensuring proper control of changes by reviewing Technical Queries and Request for Information, Material Acceptance Forms (TQs/RFIs/MAF) to ensure responses are technically accurate.
- monitor the Implementation Phase & Execution Plan objectives and periodically report to project management on performance.
- qualification in information technology or related field with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a technology environment; knowledge of Cyber Security systems and platforms in IT and Operational Technology Control systems an advantage.
- experience with implementation of integrated technology systems, preferably with a master systems integrator.
- demonstrated experience working on large and complex projects.
- exceptional communications and interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate with and influence a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.
- organised, methodical, self-driven to solve problems in a schedule-driven environment.
