Many of the projects are set in remote locations and have strict quality and completion targets that must be met. With a current project pipeline of over $150 million of work in hand, this organisation is growing rapidly and is expected to be awarded more projects in 2024. As a result of their continued success we are looking for a Project Manager to join their team.The Structural Engineer will design, assess and oversee the structural aspects of construction projects. You will provde expert Structural Engineering services, ensuring all structures meet the required standards and enhance the overall project value.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement & installation of structural components on site, ensuring they meet project specifications and Australian Standards.
- Assist in the production of structural packages for structural project elements.
- Assist in ensuring quality of works during installation of civil and structural systems on site.
- Ensure all installations comply with Australian local, state, and federal regulations, industry safety standards and project specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to align electrical systems with overall project goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia if acquired overseas).
- Accredited to sign off on structural design.
- Eligible to register on State Structural Engineering register e.g., RPEQ.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural design engineering in Australia.
- Proficient in using industry-standard software like AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools e.g., Space Gass.
- Strong understanding of the latest structural standards and safety regulations in Australia.
