THE POSITION:
We are currently seeking a Field Engineer who will manage site maintenance and office coordination of personnel, plant and equipment. This position is office based with some site visits when required. Office located NOR.
WHO YOU ARE:
- The Field Engineer position requires both site maintenance and service of dust & fume extraction equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with clients on various sites.
- Conduct maintenance of equipment, performance monitoring of dust extraction equipment at various sites.
- Coordinate execution of PM02 maintenance work related to dust and fume extraction systems.
- Manage logistics of personnel, plant, and equipment.
- Prepare site inspection reports and raise notifications in SAP as required.
- Be diligent in following up regularly with customers, communicating often, honestly, and clearly, and collaborating with customers to deliver outcomes.
- Meet customers to provide knowledge and understanding of Client products and services
- 3-5 years in a similar engineering role
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or structural)
- Knowledge of OH&S Legislation and responsibilities
- Effective time management and organisational skills
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Conduct preventive maintenance and performance monitoring of dust extraction equipment regular intervals - monthly, 6 monthly & 12 monthly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of Baghouse collectors.
- Checking Dust Collector Filter Bags
- Coordinate and Carry out Breakdown & Planned Maintenance of dust extraction, and ventilation equipment. Filter Bag changeouts
- Replace pulse valves, DP Gauges, Rotary Valves, etc.
- Carry out diagnostics and troubleshooting of dust extraction equipment.
- Planning & coordination with the client's team for repairs, replacements, and refurbishments.
- Liaison with the technical support team to develop solutions and provide site work estimates.

- Able to follow instructions and able to guide field technicians on site.
- Good equipment and piping knowledge
- Excellent skills and knowledge of how to service equipment.
- Conduct work safely and focus on safe working practices.
