The Role
The candidate should ideally have a strong process instrumentation background and solid experience in the calibration of a wide variety of instruments.
Previous exposure to ISO9001 quality systems, GMP environments and the requirements associated with NATA endorsed calibrations would be viewed favorably, as would solid customer facing experience.
Well developed analytical skills and a high level of detail, along with ability to work as part of a team and autonomously would be desirable skills for this role.
A drivers licence is essential as a fully maintained company vehicle will be supplied.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide calibration, fault finding, repairs and maintenance to our customer’s electronic, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic instrumentation.
- Plan and install new instrumentation as required by customers.
- Maintain a high level of technical competency, ensuring that diagnosed and repaired instruments or systems can be returned to service with minimal disruption to customer processes.
- Take responsibility for tasks assigned and complete them within set timeframes with minimal supervision.
- Complete and present service & repair report within set timeframe.
- Liaise with customers and keep them informed regarding work progress.
- Accurately enter calibration data into CALtrack and produce necessary documentation, certificates, and reports.
- Ensuring that delivery of documentation meets customer expectations and Trescal timelines.
- Follow Job Pack guidelines and prepare for job execution, including preparation of test equipment & tools.
- Maintain communications with co-ordinator and supervisor to ensure that jobs progress efficiently and safely.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience.
Key requirements:
- Hold a trade certificate in instrumentation (either Cert III or Cert IV) highly favorable
- Electrical reconnect / disconnect license highly regarded
- Calibration experience in instrumentation
- Customer focused
