We are looking for a talented Electrician to join our Power Generation Team in Wodonga . If you are an Electrician with mechanical industry knowledge , and you are looking to power up your career in heavy industrial equipment, we have the opportunity for you!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Be first responder to customers for breakdowns, repairs and service works primarily on Power Generation products.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics and maintenance of diesel engines up 78 litres.
- Completing all work with a high focus on safety.
- Participate in an after-hours on call roster.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Relevant and current electrical trade qualification
- A high level of mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of internal combustion engines
- Proven ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems with strong attention to detail, problem solving and a high level of accuracy.
- Understanding of HV systems and operations (desirable)
- High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- A current, valid driver's license
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salary Overtime penalties
- Monday to Friday, weekend work (occasional) and after hours on call rotating roster
- $5000 sign on bonus (Conditions apply)
