Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training service. Our client is current seeking a Field Service Maintenance Electrician to join their team in Hallam VIC. This role is a day shift position, Monday - Friday with OT available. This position includes 30% Electrical and 70% Mechanical work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in valve maintenance, repair, and installation, coupled with expertise in electrical systems.
Tasks and responsibilities:
To identify faults, repair and test/commission actuators in the field.
To modify/upgrade actuators in the field.
Carry out inspections/health checks on actuators.
Carry out mechanical and sometimes electrical installation of actuators and associated retrofit adaption components, pedestals and drive shafts.
To produce site visit reports for each job that are accurate and technically/grammatically correct.
To produce and submit accurate and detailed expense claims on a weekly basis.
Your Qualifications:
Qualified A Grade Electrician with proven experience.
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
Strong understanding of valve types, functions and applications
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Current drivers' licence
