AddressProgrammed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training service. Our client is current seeking a Field Service Maintenance Electrician to join their team in Hallam VIC.
This role is a day shift position, Monday - Friday with OT available. This position includes 30% Electrical and 70% Mechanical work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in valve maintenance, repair, and installation, coupled with expertise in electrical systems.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- To identify faults, repair and test/commission actuators in the field.
- To modify/upgrade actuators in the field.
- Carry out inspections/health checks on actuators.
- Carry out mechanical and sometimes electrical installation of actuators and associated retrofit adaption components, pedestals and drive shafts.
- To produce site visit reports for each job that are accurate and technically/grammatically correct.
- To produce and submit accurate and detailed expense claims on a weekly basis.
Your Qualifications:
- Qualified A Grade Electrician with proven experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of valve types, functions and applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Current drivers' licence
