AddressField Service Electrician – Power Generation
$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!
We are looking for a talented Field Service Electrician to join our Power Generation Team in Adelaide. This role will see you as part of a team of field-based technicians specialising in repairing and maintaining high horsepower, prime and standby generators.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Be first on the field for customers for breakdowns, repairs, and service works
- Working on generator sets and engine control panels, scheduled and unscheduled service works
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines/generators up to 3350KVA
- Modifying wiring looms/diagrams
- Commissioning of new generators/systems, transfer switches and master controllers
- Working closely with the Mechanical Service team
- Completing all work with a high focus on safety
- Participate in an After Hours on call roster
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Be a trade qualified electrician
- Hold a current Electrical License and/or Electrical contractor’s license
- Previous industrial experience in an industrial factory as a senior or sole electrician
- An in depth understanding of control systems (including PLC and relay logic)
- The ability to interpret electrical schematics
- Strong PC skills
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- A current, valid driver’s license
- Previous experience in Power Generation products highly regarded but not essential
