Power Generation Field Service Supervisor
Description
We are looking for a talented Power Generation , Supervisor – Field Service to join our team specialising in Power Generation repairs and maintenance for our Pooraka (Adelaide) facility. This key appointment is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the Field Service department whilst providing direction to a team of dedicated Technicians
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Efficiently manage the day to day running of the department, Plan, schedule and allocate all repair events. Inventory and warehouse management. Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 6 Field Service technicians - oversee repairs and sign off on Technicians work - track and measure technician productivity and performance
Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers and fleet management of client assets.
Provide technical support to the staff. Perform on & off-site repairs, including and Power Generation sites
Maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements. Conduct quality checks. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives.
Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician background
Significant Field Service work experience
Knowledge of and/or experience with Power Generation products
High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
