The Role
We are looking for an extremely motivated and enthusiastic permanent full-time Field Service Engineer to join our growing service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Work collaboratively with specialists, senior engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems.
- Understand and interpret electrical schematics and other technical drawings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment, including identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.
- Be open to travel, including on-site work at remote customer locations.
Skills / Qualifications
- Relevant Electrical / Mechanical qualifications; degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Understanding of electrical schematics.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar position diagnosing and repairing / troubleshooting mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
- Basic understanding of RIP software (Fiery, Caldera, Onyx or similar) and colour-management preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior engineers.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
Salary PackageRange
$80K – 85K (inclusive of base salary and vehicle allowance) plus super
