The Opportunity
You will be an outstanding Field Service Engineer who enjoys supporting laboratory customers in technical applications, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. Joining this team of talented and experienced engineers, you will:
- Prepare sites and carry out installations and validations.
- Organize and perform service activities for preventive maintenance.
- Work closely with the Customer Services team and Sales team.
- Provide a high standard of customer excellence and applications support across their product range.
Position Requirements
- A tertiary/advanced trade qualification in engineering or applied science.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant technical field - ideally as a Field Service Engineer in the life sciences sector.
- Proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems with good working knowledge of liquid handling and robotics systems.
- Strong software and IT skills needed for the support of modern laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge and demonstrated capability in software and hardware integrations between equipment and systems.
- Exposure to object-oriented coding languages is highly regarded.
- Detail orientated and process-driven personality, with a dedication to communication and documentation.
- Ongoing ability to travel interstate on a routine basis and provide support across other territories as needed.
