The organisation are going through a technology transformation, and as part of the network and hardware deployment project there is a requirement for a skilled ICT Field Engineer to ensure optimal performance across all site locations. Candidates must have their own car and be prepared to travel on a daily basis to sites across Victoria.Key Responsibilities:
- Test network connectivity and WiFi access points for optimal performance.
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Teams for enhanced collaboration.
- Collaborate with the Connectivity Project team for smooth integration of new technologies.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity, WiFi access, and Microsoft Teams usage.
- Document technical processes for future reference.
- Document technical processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams deployment, including chat, video conferencing, and collaboration features.
- Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewall configurations and access control.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network issues using tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools and services.
- Experience in conducting technology training sessions for end users.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and incident management processes.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver training to end users effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable to travel across various locations predominately within the Melbourne suburbs. All work will be carried out during with normal working week of Monday to Friday.
- Relevant certifications in networking or ICT engineering would be advantageous.
- Excellent documentation skills for technical processes and configurations.
