The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team based in Dandenong. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer’s equipment.Benefits include:The role has the earning capacity of 130k inclusive of overtime bonuses paid twice yearly

Key responsibilities include:Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
Providing exceptional customer service to our customers
Ensure your work sites are kept tidy and all paperwork is up to date
Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures
To be successful in the role, you will possess:Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanicOEM equipment experience highly regarded
Current driver’s license
Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
