The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, and working closely with the Central QLD Sales and Service teams, the primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;

  • regular field servicing of environmental spill response kits, including the replenishing of absorbents and materials,
  • conducting testing and inspections of emergency showers & eyewash units,
  • installation and maintenance of spill control equipment,
  • completing electronic reports detailing the work performed,
  • client management and relationship building,
  • promote sales of additional equipment to assist the environmental performance of our clients,
  • stock management of vehicle and warehouse inventories, and
  • administration of all related paperwork and computer data entry.

The role will require regular travel to regional areas throughout Central & Nth QLD. Some client's sites have requirements to undertake drug and alcohol testing.


The Person

You are driven by achieving practical solutions for our clients and enjoy contributing to a team environment whilst working autonomously in the field.

The successful applicant will have;

  • strong communication skills to communicate with customers and staff to ensure our client's requirements are met,
  • excellent organisational skills to ensure that their service runs are completed efficiently, and documentation is managed in an accurate and timely manner,
  • computer skills for the completion of electronic reports, and
  • problem solving skills to assist in providing practical environmental solutions for our clients.

Full Training will be provided.

A driver's license is mandatory.

Package

Remuneration comprises a competitive package including base salary, performance incentives, company vehicle, mobile phone and tablet. 

You will be trained in the role to meet the company's service standards and will be well supported from the Head Office in Brisbane and our other Service Technicians.
