- Facilitate, lead, and contribute to the achievement of safety and environmental performance targets.
- Actively promote safe behaviour within the team and manage safety at the worksite.
- Implement strategies to minimize the risk of safety incidents.
- Undertake infrastructure track maintenance to specifications as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and develop new work practices.
- Responsible for taking the team out to the worksite and completing scheduled tasks.
- Ensure the team completes required tasks safely and on time.
- Report on work performed to supervisors.
- Travel across the network as required to support other teams during system closures.
- This is a very hands-on role; knowledge and experience in the rail industry are essential.
- Demonstrated experience in the Rail Industry and Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure (Essential).
- Ability to work from home extensively.
- Current Driver's License - MR Class or above (Desirable).
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Exceptional leadership skills and ability to lead diverse workgroups.
- Extensive knowledge of track maintenance, inspection standards, systems, and processes.
