Full Time & Part Time Positions Available.
Servicing Sydney Metro & Greater Sydney Areas. + Occassional Thornleigh Warehouse / Workshop for Refurbs etc.

Established in 1952 Johnston's GlassMaster has a reputation for being the best in Sydney for the servicing and repairs of commercial glasswashers and dishwashers equipment (see www.jgmaster.com.au)
Working with the Managing Director / Owner, Role would entail Visiting a Variety of Sites around Sydney. Averaging from 4-6 Different Sites Per Day. see role responsibilities below:
- Servicing & Diagnosing / Fault Finding (Breakdown & Preventative Maintenance) of installed machines (Glasswashers and Dishwashers) on client sites / venues across metro & greater wide Sydney.
- Refurbishing of Second Hand Machines at our Storage Facility located in Thornleigh. In preparation for sale.
- Driving Service Vehicle to and from Client Sites and Client Site Visits to Deliver items such as: Equipment, Detergents and carry out “Monthly Visits TOP UP” of Detergents or other Spare Parts / Products deliveries.
- Installation (Disconnect/Reconnect) and Removal of existing machines at client sites across Sydney. (Sometimes might require minor Plumbing In (basic modification of existing plumbing connections and occasional Power GPO & Power Plug Replacements)
- Service Vehicle Parts Inventory Management ( Parts / Stock Control )
- Assisting Fellow Service Technicians as when required.
- Reporting Hazards and Ensuring Work Safety is the number one priority!
You will be given intensive training in the first month by which time your should then advance on to the next probationary period (Based on your Progress ) you will be eligible to be rewarded further on a range of Bonus & benefits... provided your employment is continuing and you demonstrate an affinity for the role.

To be eligible:
you must have been employed for at least 3 years with at least 1 years of service with at least 1 employer and demonstrate knowledge of working with / repairing Commercial Equipment and have expereience fault finding / diagnoising issues via wiring schematics.
you must have a valid driver's license - Manual or Automatic
you must have valid permit to work unrestricted in Australia.
you must speak an acceptable standard of English.
availability to work at least 15-40 hours per week – Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm + SATURDAY Availability 8am-1pm (ONLY OCCASIONALLY REQUIRED! + @ Overtime Rate 1.5x)
be Present in Australia (have all the Necessary Working Permits / Visas etc. to work In Australia) and Ready to attend a Physical Interview with the Owner within 10 Days of receiving request.
Desirable attributes:
FAULT FINDING / Following Wiring Diagram Schematics Big PLUS!!
Electrical Safety Knowledge
Technical ability with Tools.
Experience in Commercial Electrical / Refrigeration / Plumbing / General Mechanics
Experience in servicing Mechanical Pump & Motors.
Experience working with Hand Tools + Drills. Angle Grinders etc.
*Ideally a certificate in at least Restricted Electrical Work - Disconnect/Reconnect would be advantageous.
As you will be required to attend client sites across Sydney good navigation skills are sought.
You should be responsible and capable of taking good care of the company vehicle and keeping track of spare parts.
