They are seeking a Field Service Technician who has a wood machine background (Carpenter or Cabinet Maker) for their team of 5. This role is crucial as you will servicing and maintaining wood machines and providing top-notch support to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relations: Build strong, solution-oriented relationships with customers through professional and positive communication, both onsite and via telephone support.
- Product Installation and Training: Install our products and provide comprehensive training to customers.
- Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair product breakdowns efficiently.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and contracted service work.
- Project Management: Manage schedules, customer contacts, and service projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordination: Work with operations coordinators to ensure all necessary components are prepared for site visits.
- Team Collaboration: Cooperate with the Operations Coordinator and Service Manager to ensure timely completion of site work.
- Technical Support: Handle national service duties, including callbacks and managing technical enquiries.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to resolving customer issues.
- Ability to manage projects and work independently until completion.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with various departments and clients.
- Technical proficiency in product installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Willingness to travel for onsite support and service work.
