About the Job
Responsible for servicing the Sydney region, the Field Service Technician will attend to customer sites to carry out :
- Inspections, servicing and repairs to equipment with a focus on elevated work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers.
- Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when requested
- Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by JLG policy, ANZ Standards and customer and/or site requirements in a timely manner
- Responsible for notifying the Field Service Coordinator if repairs or services can’t be completed during visit and the reason why, where required providing information for the ability to provide the customer a quote
- Conduct van audits and stock takes
- Generating sales and service leads where possible and collaborating with the team
- As a Field Service Technician you are also required to carry out general administrative duties from time to time as requested by management
No Two days are the same, you will attend a variety of customer sites in your fully maintained vehicle, working with innovative products and backed by well established and supportive teams based out of Regents Park.

About You
- You are an experienced mechanic with previous experience with access, plant or heavy equipment.
- Have a trade qualification in elevating work platform technology, heavy vehicle, diesel, automotive, auto electrical or related field
- You pride yourself on your high quality of work and exceptional customer service skills.
- You are committed and reliable, with exceptional attention to detail, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
