- Whilst you have enjoyed learning the theory behind mechanical systems, you prefer work that is more practical and allows you to use your hands.
- Your interest for problem solving extends outside the classroom where you may find yourself investigating issues with your washing machine, dishwasher or oven and take pride in being able to find the fault and repair the issue yourself.
- You may have seen or been exposed to Engineering roles that are more office based. Instead, you are looking for a role that allows you to get on the production floor and be hands-on working with the machines.
- As part of the role, you will work closely with Senior Technicians to:
- Work with a cohort of fellow graduates to develop your skills and knowledge across a broad range of CNC machinery
- Assist Senior Technicians to effectively maintain machinery across Melbourne (for 6 months), Gold Coast and Brisbane.
- Conduct root cause analysis, fault-finding and diagnosing efficient solutions to machine breakdowns.
- Execute the installation process from pre-site inspection, overseeing the delivery of machines, assembling the machines through to training end users.
- Act as a key point of contact for the customer, you will represent the brand and communicate with key stakeholders from Production Managers to small business owners.
- Current and unrestricted driver's licence
- Interested in a hands-on role with machinery
- Willing to relocate to Melbourne for 6 months
