Currently we have a role available within the SA team as a Field Service Technician.

The Role:

As part of our Field Service team, the Field Service Technician role involves the following core duties and functions:

• Carrying out repairs and service work on a variety of Materials Handling Equipment within the Waverley Forklifts fleet and customer owned equipment.
• Representing Waverley Forklifts in a professional and positive manner delivering excellent service.
• Working independently onsite and in coordination with our Service Team as required.
• Additional project work and tasks as required.

The Right Person for the Role:

The successful candidate must be an individual who is experienced and skilled in the role, embraces challenges and responsibility with enthusiasm and energy. You enjoy a challenge, pride yourself on your professional approach, personal presentation and possess a positive attitude.

Specifically you display the following:

• Recent and relevant trade experience as a mechanic or field mechanic in forklift machinery or construction equipment highly regarded
• Ability to diagnose faults accurately and complete repair efficiently
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• An ability to complete required paperwork with accuracy.
• Thoroughness in performing assigned tasks.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• An ability to show initiative and problem solve efficiently
• Willingness to be an integral part of the team and work autonomously when required.
