Key Responsibilities
- The inspection, service, repairs, and maintenance services on the range of mineral processing equipment on customer mine sites
- The inspection, repairs, and assembly of equipment and parts in the Mackay workshop
- Providing technical support and assistance to customer’s mechanical personnel during site shutdowns
- Organizing and planning site visits and a project’s scope of works
- Ensuring that a high level of safety and quality is achieved and that best practices are maintained
- Assisting with warehouse activities
- Domestic and international travel to customer sites as required
- Mechanical trade certificate
- Minimum 4+ years working experience within the resources sector
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current Standard 11
- Computer literate for required reports
- Ability to travel as required in line with customer requirements. Some interstate and international travel could be expected in this position
- Permanent full time position with above market salary - $120,000 base salary + OT paid after 40 hours per week + super + service vehicle + company credit card for travel expenses (generally Monday - Friday hours unless on shut down)
