About the Opportunity:
Coffs Harbour based role
The role of a 'Mentor and Development Coach” is to work with our Early Childhood Education and Care employer partners. Not only will you be part of our fabulous Industry Graduates team, you will also form part of the employer's internal learning academy, working to achieve the career professional development goals of educators and the employer. This means you will immerse yourself in the culture of the organisation, become part of the team and see first-hand the benefit your role modelling, coaching and development is contributing to the service.
About the role:
- Ensuring best practice operational policy and procedural services are always implemented and assessed against the national quality framework.
- Delivering a comprehensive L&D program for all Early Childhood Service employees that is consistent with their career pathway.
- Management of trainee educator experience and development.
- Provide on the job mentoring during client workplace visits
- Work alongside leaders to ensure all educators achieve development goals.
- Communicate and develop cooperative relationships with all leaders, ensuring the training and development programs are consistent with operational objectives.
- You will be enrolled and supported through a Business, Leadership and Management qualification pathway to enhance your workplace coaching skills
- You will be enrolled and supported through a Certificate IV Training and Assessment Qualification (TAE40116)
About the Individual:
- Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Education professional with strong industry experience.
- Passion for developing and mentoring others
- Demonstrated high-level attention to detail, customer engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
- Require a working vehicle and license
