These commercial packaging products are used to pack, bundle, unitize, protect and secure goods during warehousing and transit.
The Opportunity
We have a unique opportunity for a Field Service Technician or maintenance fitter to join our team. You will need sound mechanical aptitude and the ability to communicate with a large range of clients. Comprehensive training on our extensive range of equipment will be provided.
Your duties will include but not be limited to –
- On-site visits to clients for repairs, routine servicing and installations of our machinery.
- Repairs and services to customers equipment in our workshop
- Onsite visits for preventative maintenance services
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Pre-delivery checks on new equipment
- Training customers in use of our equipment
- Completing service reports
- Managing vehicle stock inventory
- Completing ad hoc reports
- Travel throughout region interstate and international when required
Qualifications
- Qualification in the mechanical field is mandatory
- A current drivers license is mandatory
Skills and Experience
- Maintenance background, mechanical aptitude and excellent problem solving skills
- An electrical qualification (disconnect/reconnect) is desirable
- Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics is desirable.
- Must be highly motivated and be able to work unsupervised.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy – MS office suite (outlook, work and excel).
- Good time management.
- Able to work with limited supervision.
