We are in search of a dedicated and motivated individual for a full-time position as an Air Compressor Field Service Technician. The ideal candidate will take on the primary responsibility of conducting onsite preventative maintenance services, repairs, and installations for various air compressors and compressed air systems. The role extends to encompass general workshop duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite preventative maintenance services for air compressors.
- Execute repairs and installations for various air compressors and compressed air systems, both within the workshop and onsite.
- Fulfill general workshop duties as required.
- Background in fixed plant maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of air compressors and pneumatic systems.
- Strong ability to conduct mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Preferably possess a mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration trade qualification.
- A restricted electrical license would be advantageous.
- Well-presented with good communication skills.
- Must own a set of tools.
- Possession of a C class driver’s license is essential.
- Given the nature of the Field Service role, applicants must be flexible, open to travel, and available for regular overtime. This may include early starts, late finishes, and occasional after-hours call-outs or weekend work.
