This is a full-time role for a Field Services Engineer based in Sydney. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for field service, troubleshooting, technical support, and preventive maintenance of Rigaku XRD and XRF instruments while training to support other analytical and imaging equipment.
The role will support customers predominantly on the east coast but will involve wider travel including overseas travel from time to time. The role will also involve providing excellent customer service and support.
Qualification & Experience- Demonstrated excellence with service and troubleshooting skills
- Factory Training with Rigaku XRF and XRD including Miniflex, Supermini and Smartlab products
- 10 years experience field service experience.
- 3 years experience in XRF/XRD
- Ability to service electron microscopy an advantage
- 3 years demonstrated experience supporting a team of service engineers.
- Technical support and preventive maintenance skills
- Customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar essential
