Due to continued expansion and growth a newly created opportunity exists for an experienced Field Services Manager in our Pacific Energy Connected (PEC) division. In addition to expanding the existing remote and renewable power solutions, PEC is one of Australia’s leading turnkey delivery partners for green hydrogen production and refueling facilities, with unmatched experience delivering end-to-end hydrogen ecosystems and specialised equipment and is on a rapid growth trajectory.
The Field Services Manager will be accountable for the planning, management, and financial outcomes of the field service function. The role provides oversight and management of the strategic and operational sustainability.
This role would be ideal for someone with a passion for leadership, continuous improvement, and innovation. The successful candidate will lead the successful execution of the maintenance and breakdown requirements of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise field service operations and establish business plans aligned to the Business Unit and company strategic goals.
- Ensure that all key assets are maintained in a cost effective and sustainable manner whilst ensuring capital is within budget and program.
- Provide strong leadership to the Field Services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work closely with suppliers to ensure procurement is cost effective and ESG commitments are adhered to.
- Provide expert technical guidance and direction and ensure that a rigorous Preventative Maintenance Program is implemented and maintained across operating assets.
- Establish, monitor, and deliver on key Field Service KPI’s which deliver real value.
- Lead and foster exemplary safety standards and behaviours in all personnel, across all asset and maintenance sites.
- Drive strategic people initiatives which foster personal development, skills advancement, and a can-do attitude with clear accountability.
- Substantial knowledge and experience in leading maintenance of gas storage and delivery assets and other power generation assets.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Sound technical skills and a subject matter expert in all areas of preventative and corrective maintenance.
- A willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
- A can do and positive attitude with the ability to build and maintain relationships that create and add value.
- A strong understanding of Safety Management systems and associated legislative requirements.
