This key level position is integral to the overall success of the company and will see you:
- Directly responsible for driving and achieving the sales growth and
profitability of business - Understanding Project Sales, Construction management, Construction Contracts - Highly advantageous!
- In sales management, effectively managing a sales pipeline and increasing quote conversion rates are crucial within the business. Ensure a full pipeline, utilize data for insights, and maintain visibility into each stage of the sales process.
- Actively participate in product development and the
introduction of new products to the business. Refine
products to improve quality and actively coordinate with
others on R&D matters for the Group - Increase quote conversion, focus on understanding customer needs, presenting quotes professionally, and responding promptly to reinforce the customer's decision.
- Effective, timely and efficient execution of quoted works on BSI product lines.
- Providing an exceptional level of customer satisfaction while providing a safe and satisfying place to work for employees and subcontractors
alike.

As trusted advisor you will draw upon your expertise and knowledge within this industry space, providing high-level strategic guidance on all critical matters, policy directives and innovative strategies that align with the organisation’s broader objectives, providing counsel to senior executives including the very down to earth Managing Director - Head of ANZ Pacific Business Segment Industrial.

- Management of a Manufacturing Company
- Manufacturing and installations costs to project
budgets and financial plan - Sales Management, how to manage a sales pipeline. How to increase the quote and conversation as they sell Projects
- Sales oriented with strong operations expertise
- Proven technical knowledge and strong customer focus and experience from a service intensive business
- Financial understanding and interest (Profit and Loss understanding, top-bottom line) P & L of around 25mil
- Responsibility for overall Occupational Health and
Safety of employees and sub-contractors - Tendering process experience
- On time project delivery. Fit for purpose quality and minimal warranty costs
- Previous experience in complex matrixed organisation
- You can think on your feet with an attitude and approach to thinking about things differently, seeking out better ways, embracing critical questioning, innovation and continuous improvement.
- You have exceptional problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to come up with creative solutions to new problems.
You will be driven to break things down before building them back up and you will understand disparate elements of a business function as a whole, in turn, identifying and executing on opportunities to deliver growth and profitability. Education, Background Skills
- Undertaken qualification in Engineering, MBA, Business or Supply Chain or equivalent industry relevant experience
- 5 years+ management experience
- Highly skilled in tenders, quotations, product design, product costing, and finance.
