Exciting Opportunity for a Field Services Veterinarian!

Are you a passionate and driven veterinarian looking to make a significant impact in the animal health / pet industry? In this role, you'll be responsible for executing strategic plans to achieve business outcomes, drive sales growth, and provide top-notch technical support to customers, stakeholders, and influencers.

What You Will Do: As a Field Services Veterinarian, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing the Field Services strategy to achieve business goals
  • Developing and implementing territory plans for technical field coverage
  • Collaborating with the sales team to drive sales and market share growth
  • Delivering technical trainings and presentations at forums
  • Coaching sales representatives on technical selling skills
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and influencers
  • Providing technical advice to veterinarians, pet retail staff, and consumers
  • Developing and implementing field materials in alignment with marketing strategies
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and understanding of animal health issues

Qualifications and Skills: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Veterinary Degree and Registration with the NSW Veterinary Surgeons Board (essential)
  • Post-Graduate qualifications (advantageous)
  • 3 years of experience in clinical Companion Animal veterinary practice
  • Experience with Companion Animal vaccines and parasiticides
  • Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
  • Competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • High flexibility, resilience, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work well with others
  • Self-motivation and the ability to make decisions independently
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Initiative to work effectively with minimal supervision
