About the role
Air Compressor Services South Australia requires CASUAL OR PART-TIME services of a competent mechanical tradesperson/ Field Technician Tuesday - Thursday inclusive. This person will have a mechanical and/or electrical trade background, who is handy on the tools, has good diagnostic skills and has the confidence to fix anything. You would be a confident self-starter with the right attitude, keen to learn, and focused on delivering quality service and productivity whilst working efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
Driving a late model field service ute, in-house training, and supported by a team of experienced technicians, you would soon develop the skills to become a recognised Compressed Air Technician.
Must be willing to start & end your shift from our Seaford base.
Responsibilities
Providing best-in-class service and customer support during field visits or workshop-based maintenance activities, you would manage all aspects of on-site service, repair, and preventative maintenance, to ensure that customer equipment operates from “one service to the next without downtime”. With minimal supervision, your mechanical ability and experience will allow you to diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions.
Qualifications
To be successful in the position, you would need to:
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be trade qualified in a mechanical-based or electrical field or industry.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Drivers Licence is essential.
A restricted electrical qualification would be well received but not a requirement.
Experience in the air compressor industry would be looked upon favourably but is not essential.
