H/V Or Diesel Mechanics & Technicians Wanted

Our client is one of Australia's leading specialists in the transportation of drilling, work-over rigs, and associated equipment within the Oil, Gas, and Pipeline industries and is seeking multiple experienced Diesel or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join their team, located in Moomba. These positions are ongoing with the potential to lead to permanency.What's on Offer?

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checks parts.
• Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components, and refers to service manuals as needed.
• Reassembles engines and parts after being repaired.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Trade Qualifications- Cert III in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic
• Proven experience working with heavy vehicles, 4WDs, Trucks and Plant Equipment.
• A commitment to safety standards and compliance
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
